Job Title: Software Engineer (C++ / Rust)

About the Role

  • We re seeking a Software Engineer based in New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance trading system components, including data acquisition, validation, and integration.
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and technologists to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integrate quantitative models into trading infrastructure.
  • Develop tools and workflows to improve post-trade and risk reporting processes.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and adopt modern frameworks to evolve the technology stack.
  • Support and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related mathematical field.
  • 3 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in C++ and/or Rust; familiarity with Python preferred.
  • Experience with messaging protocols such as RabbitMQ or Kafka, Web Sockets, AWS
  • Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with financial data APIs and databases such as Onetick or Kdb+.
  • Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated use of industry-standard tools, version control, and best development practices.
