Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to lead the enhancement of our Investment Reporting System. This role involves guiding engineering teams, translating architectural designs into actionable tasks, and delivering robust cloud-native solutions using Azure services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure data tools, strong leadership capabilities, and a background in the insurance domain. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate high-level designs into detailed engineering tasks. Provide technical problem-solving support and leadership across the development lifecycle. Hands-On Technical Work: Design and implement solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, Event Grid, and Service Bus. Lead the development of ETL pipelines, cloud-native architectures, and database migration strategies. Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using modern tools and methodologies. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or in a similar technical leadership role. Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Grid, and Service Bus. Strong experience in developing ETL pipelines and cloud-native architectures. Experience with database migrations and data engineering best practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach. Insurance domain experience is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure Databricks and other advanced Azure data services. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration. Education: Bachelors Degree
