Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Imprivata Engineer to manage, implement, and support the Imprivata OneSign platform and other identity and access management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on single sign-on (SSO), authentication management, and secure access technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Imprivata OneSign, Confirm ID, and other Imprivata solutions across clinical environments.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and efficient user access workflows.
- Configure and manage single sign-on (SSO) for clinical and enterprise applications.
- Integrate Imprivata with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), Active Directory, and other infrastructure components.
- Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and patches.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot access or authentication issues.
- Support badge reader configurations and biometric device integrations.
- Document architecture, procedures, and workflows.
- Provide end-user and administrative training when needed.
- Participate in on-call support rotation and off-hours implementations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering or IAM, including hands-on experience with Imprivata solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and authentication protocols.
- Experience in healthcare environments and understanding of HIPAA and security compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Imprivata Certified Engineer (ICE) certification.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell) for automation and reporting.
- Familiarity with virtualization (VMware), Citrix, or thin client environments.
- Knowledge of endpoint management systems (e.g., SCCM, Intune).
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Certification credentialed from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'
degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
