Locations: New York, Chicago, Austin, Seattle, Boulder, (Potential of Remote).
A global leading HFT firm is in search a Senior HPC Network Engineer to join their fast-growing team. This an opportunity to be a pioneer of the design, buildout and innovation of the HPC network that supports a premiere algo trading firm (and the research that drives performance).
The opportunity for growth is immense - the current HPC network spans multiple large-scale data centers (1000s of servers). There are big plans of expansion, and there is endless opportunity within the team here to make large impact.
The team are looking for candidates with experience working in a HPC/AI / hyper-scale / large scale GPU environment. There is several headcount - including a senior role and a more junior position too.

Responsibilities:
- Product selection, network design, routing, config. and troubleshooting.
- Work with HPC environment, and other teams to scale our research environment
- Meet with external parties for project items as well as future endeavors
- Capacity planning for the DC networks
- Develop scripts and processes to increase efficiency
- Collaborate with others in the network team to solve cross discipline problems
- Provide detailed documentation
- Mentor others as a senior resource
