Schedule: 3 days a week onsite and 2 days remote

Compensation: $51-60/hr w2

Job Description:

• Standing up and executing performance tests
• Will not be responsible for writing and executing performance test scripts
• Analyze performance test results, provide suggestions for optimization

• Will analyze performance results to identify bottlenecks and suggest optimizations, participate in discussions and planning with development and will design and implement overhead, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools and developed software.
• Requires experience in large UNIX systems environment, with Windows platform and/or Linux experience is key.
• Customer facing application and infrastructure integration design and programming experience required.
• Excellent design/architecture skills for transactional, messaging, or batch applications.
• Extensive experience with Oracle cluster technology, partitioning configuration, slanted towards performance, tuning and scalability.
• Systems Administrator experience with UNIX / SOLARIS / LINUX OS relative to SHELL scripting, VMSTAT, SAR and Statspack.
• Experience with performance testing methodology, such as volume, soak and response time tests.
• Demonstrated ability to build or configure tools to conduct performance tests.
• Strong overall architectural understanding of large systems development with a focus on performance.
• Good working knowledge of operating systems, databases and programming languages (both procedural and object).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

PE Test Coordinator

• Experienced in developing performance engineering processes, policies, procedures, and standards for performance engineering and leading efforts to implement those.
• Proficient in end-to-end performance assurance, early performance assessment, and validation of commercial and non-commercial on-premises and cloud-based applications.
• Expertise in identifying and resolving performance issues on a variety of server subsystems (CPU, Memory, Threads, I/O, etc.) and operating systems counters.
• Designed and Developed automated Performance, Stability, Scalability, and Reliability tests.
• Extensive experience in Performance Testing and Monitoring tools such as JMeter/Blazemeter, Splunk, AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, etc.
• Experienced in SQL and Oracle Databases
• Experience with test data setup tools like K2View a plus
