Lead Architecture PM/Team Lead

Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Architecture Project Manager / Team Lead to drive the operational rhythm and governance of our central architecture team. This role is pivotal in shaping and managing the architecture operating model, fostering cross-domain collaboration, and supporting executive-level communication and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Architecture Operating Model

• Design, implement, and continuously improve the central architecture team's operating model.
• Establish and manage meeting cadences, work intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and delivery tracking mechanisms.

Governance & Review Boards

• Lead coordination and facilitation of the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and other governance forums.
• Ensure architecture decisions are documented, communicated, and aligned with enterprise strategy.

Executive Communication

• Prepare and deliver executive-level updates, presentations, and reports on architecture initiatives, risks, and outcomes.
• Support CIO and senior leadership in strategic planning and architecture alignment.

Team Collaboration & Enablement

• Foster collaboration across architecture disciplines (Enterprise, Data, Cloud, Salesforce, Application).
• Serve as a central point of coordination for cross-functional architectural initiatives.

Project Oversight

• Manage architecture-related projects and workstreams.
• Ensure timely delivery of key artifacts such as future-state diagrams, capability maps, and reference architectures.

Framework Stewardship

• Maintain and evolve the internal IT Architecture Framework.
• Ensure alignment with current methodologies, deliverables, and role responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project or program management within enterprise architecture or technology strategy.
• Strong understanding of architecture governance, frameworks, and operating models.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives.
• Familiarity with architecture domains such as application, data, cloud, and security.
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, and architecture modeling platforms is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Skills

• TOGAF or similar architecture certification.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
