Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect with a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform, to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess sufficient knowledge and experience in developing solutions using REACT, Java/Spring Boot, and be proficient with a range of databases including Oracle, Cassandra, and Big Query. This role involves extensive solution design and documentation, requiring close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure that the solutions meet the technical and business requirements. While the primary focus is on architecture, the candidate should also be prepared to roll up their sleeves and engage in coding activities when necessary.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Certifications in Azure/Google Cloud Platform are highly advantageous.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solutions Architect role or similar.
• Proven experience with cloud services, including open-source technology, software development, system engineering, scripting languages, and multiple database technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business processes and applications, along with the underlying infrastructure and data.
• Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud architecture solutions, primarily using Azure and Google Cloud Platform, to meet business needs.
• Document technical solutions in a clear, concise manner, ensuring they are understandable to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams to choose appropriate technology solutions and facilitate complete integration into the company systems.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments.
• Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team.
• Oversee progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
• Conduct a small percentage of hands-on coding, potentially to prototype potential solutions or assist with challenging issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with software development and system administration.
• Knowledge of strategic IT solutions, particularly with Azure and Google Cloud Platform cloud environments.
• Experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Familiarity with REACT and Java/Spring Boot frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of databases such as Oracle, Cassandra, and Big Query, and their respective data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
