Sr. Manager IT Finance Support

Local to AZ candidates Preferred

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Company s IT Department, understanding business objectives, providing financial guidance, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes through automation and system improvements, ensuring alignment with the Company's financial goals.

Oversee and drive IT cost optimization initiatives, including cloud cost management, software license optimization, and infrastructure efficiency improvements.

Oversee project-based financial analysis and modeling, supporting reporting of operational and capital spend, and assisting in business case preparation.

Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for the IT department, providing analysis of key assumptions and related financial implications.

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment within the External Reporting Department.

Performs risk assessments to design an effective control environment, and effectively performs internal controls oversight.

Coordinates and manages external and internal auditor information requests.

Drafts and updates the Company s internal accounting policies and procedures, particularly around accounting for internal-use-software and software-as-a-service, and ensures the policies are applied appropriately.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with Oracle and Essbase, or similar general ledger systems, reporting tools and database tools.

Experience in IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization methodologies.

Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.

Experience leading a mid-sized team of between 3 to 10 individuals.

Strong systems skills, including Excel (VBA), data visualization, reporting and database skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
