Job Title: Data Center Crew Operations Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Crew Operations Lead to oversee a remote contractor crew responsible for post-installation system support and maintenance. This leadership role involves coordinating hardware operations, managing crew performance, and ensuring seamless collaboration with facilities teams for power and liquid cooling requirements. The ideal candidate will be highly responsive, organized, and capable of scaling team resources based on operational demand.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a remote contractor crew handling hardware installation, device bring-up, rack stacking, IP configuration, and diagnostics

Oversee troubleshooting and triage of system issues, ensuring timely resolution

Coordinate with facilities teams for power and liquid cooling support (no direct facilities work)

Ensure crew readiness for urgent and weekend tasks, including scaling resources as needed

Maintain operational continuity through effective crew leadership and knowledge transfer

Monitor task progress, quality, and compliance with operational standards

Required Experience:

Proven experience in data center operations, prototype hardware environments, and liquid cooling systems

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

Ability to manage remote teams and ensure consistent performance

Experience in remote diagnostics and issue resolution

Flexibility to support weekend and short-notice tasks

Familiarity with operational KPIs and reporting
