Job Description r:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mulesoft Tech Lead for a hybrid W2 contract opportunity based in Houston, TX. This role involves leading API integration initiatives using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, guiding technical teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of scalable, secure integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Mulesoft APIs and integrations

  • Architect API-led integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards

  • Work with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions

  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices

  • Support Agile delivery, sprint planning, and continuous improvement

  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security in all integration components

  • Document solutions, architecture, and workflows clearly for reuse and maintenance

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years focused on Mulesoft

  • Expertise in Mulesoft 3.x/4.x, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and RAML

  • Strong understanding of API gateway management, OAuth2, JWT, and integration security

  • Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, cloud or hybrid environments, and Agile delivery

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading integration architecture for large-scale enterprise platforms

  • Background working with teams across onshore and offshore models

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, or similar enterprise systems integrated via Mulesoft
