Job Summary:
Looking for a Windows POS Systems Engineer to join the OS Configuration Team, responsible for managing the full lifecycle of retail POS systems from evaluation to retirement. This role involves system configuration, automation scripting, software deployment, testing, and maintenance in a fast-paced retail IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage full lifecycle of POS systems (evaluation, deployment, maintenance, retirement).

Configure and test operating systems and applications for peak performance.

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Support installation and deployment processes across retail stores.

Collaborate with Tier 3 and Level 2 Operations teams for issue resolution.

Perform hands-on testing and validation in the POS lab (Seattle SSC).
Required Skills:

Strong expertise in Windows OS and retail POS environments.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

Experience with SCCM, Marimba, Intune, or similar deployment tools.

Hands-on experience with POS hardware and system configuration.
-
Solid understanding of networking (VPNs, firewalls, IP configurations).

Excellent troubleshooting, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
