Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will lead product innovation and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market demands. This position requires a proactive individual who excels in cross-functional collaboration and is passionate about delivering impactful solutions that meet consumer and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a product innovation roadmap that leverages consumer insights, market trends, competitive analysis, and strategic brand direction.
Lead the Stage-Gate process for product innovation, ensuring cross-functional teams are aligned and projects are executed on schedule.
Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to integrate product innovation into the overarching brand strategy.
Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle, including concept development, research, pricing, packaging design, commercialization, launch, and ongoing optimization.
Collaborate with teams across R& D, Finance, Supply Chain, and Science to create formulations, packaging, and claims that meet consumer expectations, profitability goals, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to refine product strategies and achieve business objectives.
Monitor post-launch product performance, utilizing data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and rationalization.
Partner with marketing and sales teams to design go-to-market strategies, develop pricing models, and create marketing assets to drive product growth.
Work with Training teams to create educational materials for internal and external audiences, enhancing product knowledge and engagement.
Requirements
Proven experience in product management with a strong understanding of consumer insights and market analysis.
Expertise in managing the Stage-Gate process for product development and innovation.
Proficiency in tools such as Tableau for analyzing data and tracking product performance.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, R& D, and supply chain.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating market trends and identifying business opportunities.
Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including pricing, packaging, and commercialization.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to drive alignment across diverse teams.
