Job Details
Title- Network Engineer (L2)
Location- Princeton, NJ
Mode of hire- Contract
Mode Of Work: Onsite
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer, including at least 2 years in a Level 2 role.
- Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, with hands-on experience in routing, switching, and firewall solutions.
- Proficiency in working with F5 load balancers and Infoblox solutions.
- Experience in deploying and supporting Meraki wireless and security products.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi heatmap tools and methodologies.
- Exposure to Network Access Control (NAC) solutions such as Cisco ISE or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and VPN technologies.
- Practical experience in data center operations, including racking, cabling, and switch installations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in onsite customer environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven success in managing stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco CCNP certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience applying security best practices in enterprise networking environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Experience with hybrid cloud network integrations (e.g., Azure, AWS) is an added advantage.
