Lead Ruby Engineer
Location: Garland, TX 75041
06 Months Contract-to-Hire
Onsite Interview - Face-to-Face
Must-Haves:
- 7+ years of Ruby on Rails experience in high-traffic, transactional environments
- Strong full stack background with modern API architecture (REST/JSON)
- Experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives
- Proficient with SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and Linux shell scripting
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred:
- Experience with Next.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to Kanban or adaptive Agile environments
