HCM Functional Lead
Our client is looking for an HCM Functional Lead on a Contract-to-Hire basis. Skills required:
8-10 years of experience in HR Technology or application management. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday.
Seasoned Human Capital Systems (HR) Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and oversight for a team of developers supporting complex Workday and HR Technology initiatives.
This role requires extensive hands-on development experience across Workday modules, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to interface directly with internal clients within HR on solution design and delivery.
Demonstrated success leading Workday or HR technology deployments, managing application compliance with data security, and cyber controls, and ensuring alignment with organizational governance standards.
Partner with external vendors to drive efficient implementation and optimization of Workday solutions.
Proven experience in contributing to the functional and technical design of HR technology solutions is required.
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast paced environment.
Evaluate and recommend Workday/HR systems tools and innovation to improve efficiency and user experience.
Partner with HR leadership to identify technology needs and future state capabilities.
Act as the primary liaison between HR, Payroll , Finance teams for HR Tech initiatives.
Support compliance, audit and regulatory requirements.
Stay current with HR technology trends, tools and best practices.
Responsible for leading the design , implementation and support of Workday modules ( HCM, Compensation , Benefits , Talent, Absence, Time Tracking etc..)
Lead Workday and other HR applications solution design sessions including process mapping , requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Workday initiatives. Provide regular updates to leadership and escalate issues as needed.
Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing across the HR tech team.
This is an onsite role in Atlanta, Charlotte or Raleigh. It is 100% onsite and is a contract to hire opportunity.
The client is not open to sponsoring any work Visa at this time thus this role is only open to GCs and USCs.
