Enterprise Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level technology solutions aligned with long-term business strategy. This role will provide architecture expertise, integration strategies, and guidance across multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications, ensuring scalable, efficient, and secure technology frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architecture and design recommendations based on long-term IT strategies.
• Develop enterprise-level applications, custom integrations, major enhancements, and features.
• Architect solutions across diverse platforms and ensure application integration.
• Plan, design, and develop complex, business-critical software solutions individually or as part of a project team.
• Establish programming standards, procedures, and reusable architectures.
• Apply advanced knowledge of programming languages, object-oriented design, and application development methodologies.
• Research and assess emerging technologies for business applicability.
• Define and implement technical standards and guidelines for multi-platform solutions.
• Serve as a technical expert and mentor across the organization.
• Analyze risks, costs, and benefits for technology solutions impacting enterprise processes.
• Document integration frameworks and technical change processes.
• Participate in technical design sessions, create architecture diagrams, and define specifications.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide adoption recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 7 10 years of experience in multiple IT areas with 2 3 years in enterprise architecture, preferably in tolling, Intelligent Transportation Systems, or transit architecture.
• Advanced to expert-level knowledge of architecture, application systems design, and integration.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development including advanced features (packages, cursors, triggers, collections).
• Strong database skills: data modeling, normalization, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of database administration (backup/recovery, user management, security).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Expertise in reviewing code, test results, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Experience with technology evaluation, roadmap development, and system architecture documentation.
