As a Project Coordinator, you will be working on exciting infrastructure driven projects for Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. Responsibilities:
- Tracking and understanding documentation deliverables for multiple small IT projects
- Gather documentation from the customer
- Assist with or manage the oversight of all aspects of project life cycle to include initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing, taking project through final implementation
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Excel
- General understanding of project scope, and objectives
- Basic understanding of project team roles and functions to effectively assist in coordinating activities/tasks
- Follow best practices and ensure that requirements are met and documented
- Document project risks, assumptions, and constraints and aid in implementing approved actions and workarounds designed to mitigate project risk events
- Monitor status of all identified risks in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project
- Financial management of project budgets to ensure all budgets, forecasts and costs are measured, tracked and reported for project success
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to identify and quantify variances
- Document measurement criteria for success with the help of Project Managers or other Leads
- Assist in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Ensure that all issues are captured, resolved and that resolutions are documented and communicated
- Actively participate and/or lead project meetings and follow up on action items.
- Provide input regularly for status reports including program portfolio reviews
- Assume responsibility and coordination for a wide variety of project and/or program related tasks
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of IT Project Coordination/Project Management experience required
- Exposure to Infrastructure technology projects and project management
- Experience working with global financial customers as a project coordinator or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Multisite deployments
- MS Project experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports
- Understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle
- Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate well with customers and co-workers (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Strong team building skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
