Proposal Manager

Position Description
We are seeking a Proposal Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, CA!

You will be joining a diverse team that is focused on working together to grow our business so that we can deliver transformational solutions for our clients and build a business that supports career growth. You will work closely with a team of professionals that are striving to produce the best responses that meet the requirements of proposals and provide the best value and solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsible for managing the tasks and activities required to develop and deliver a compliant and compelling proposal on time.
Work closely with Sales, Pursuit, and Solution Architects to build a compelling proposal response.

Specific duties include:
Reviewing "Request for Proposal/Offer/Information" (RFP/RFO/RFI) or other form of proposal requests from our clients
Identifying response requirements and proposal structure required for a compliant proposal
Developing and managing schedules
Working with sales and pursuit staff to identify proposal staffing requirements
Supporting win theme and win strategy development
Creating and leading the proposal response electronic files
Managing proposal team activities throughout the proposal lifecycle
Leading color team reviews and debrief meetings
Supporting content development, editing, formatting, and final document preparation and production
Coordinate and support internal approval processes needed ahead of proposal submission
Document management, retention, and version control.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Management of large information technology, system integrator, or business consulting proposals
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Experience with government proposals
Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize multiple priorities in parallel
Excellent planning skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze requirements, define logical tasks and schedules to meet those requirements, and manage team execution to produce required results
Expert level knowledge of Word, and what is required to assemble a large, sophisticated document
Strong technical writing and organizational skills, ideally with experience writing complex technical documents
Ability to manage geographically disperse teams consisting of multiple staff levels
Proficient with graphics packages, including Visio, PowerPoint, or Adobe Illustrator desirable
Experience with Responsive (formally RFPIO) or other proposal development tool

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience with technology sales and services
Experience with graphic design to elevate our visual content and produce engaging visualizations to include in our proposals.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $83,900 - $146,000.
