Role Overview

We are working with a client in Pennsylvania seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead billing and revenue system implementations. The role focuses on high-volume, consumption-based billing and end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, from requirements through hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering workshops for new billing and revenue systems.
• Develop Agile product backlogs including:

• Service blueprints
• End-to-end process flows
• Features, user stories, development tasks
• Test scenarios, scripts, and RICEFs

• Lead workshops to introduce new end-to-end Order-to-Cash business processes.
• Act as the primary client liaison across:
• Development
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Hypercare
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for implementation-specific processes and procedures.
• Lead and execute functional testing, including SIT and UAT support.
• Design and perform integration testing to support migration from legacy systems.
• Create business process documentation and user readiness materials.
• Conduct user training workshops as required.
• Provide SAP BRIM functional support during hypercare and post go-live phases.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve system and data-related defects.
• Support billing validation to ensure accurate data migration and conversions.
• Collaborate with business owners, technology teams, vendors, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
• Lead and participate in enterprise system project activities.
• Work independently while managing assigned deliverables.
• Adhere to all organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize required software and technology tools to perform job duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• SAP BRIM SME with expertise in high-volume, consumption-based billing.
• Strong experience in end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BRIM modules:
• SOM (Subscription Order Management)
• CC (Convergent Charging)
• CM (Convergent Mediation)
• CI (Convergent Invoicing)
• SAP FICA (Dunning & Collections)
• Experience leading workshops and writing functional specifications.
• Hands-on configuration experience in pricing, rating, billing, and invoicing.
• Experience managing O2C workstreams while keeping teams on schedule and budget.
• Automation test process design and configuration for SAP BRIM.
• Ability to interpret complex B2B contracts and translate them into configurable billing and financial systems.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Real-world experience supporting global billing operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Azure DevOps (ADO) Testing Module.

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in SAP BRIM and Billing implementations.
• Experience with enterprise-level SAP projects.
• Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
