Enterprise Sales Manager Lead a High-Performance IT Sales Team Location: Syracuse, NY or Remote (with travel)
Compensation: $200,000 $300,000 OTE | Uncapped Commission
About the Opportunity:
A fast-growing IT solutions provider is hiring a strategic and hands-on Enterprise Sales Manager to lead a national team of Account Executives focused on delivering infrastructure hardware and lifecycle solutions to enterprise customers. This is your chance to build and shape a high-performing sales culture while driving meaningful revenue growth in a dynamic, solution-oriented environment.
What You ll Be Leading:
You ll manage a team of experienced reps who sell:
- Enterprise networking and collaboration hardware (refurbished and new)
- Structured cabling for data centers
- Full lifecycle IT asset solutions from procurement to retirement
This isn t a plug-and-play leadership role it s for someone who thrives on coaching, closing, and scaling. You'll be reporting directly to senior leadership and have a visible role in shaping the sales strategy.
What You ll Do:
- Hire, develop, and coach a geographically diverse sales team
- Set goals, monitor pipeline, and manage performance through data and KPIs
- Collaborate with technical architects and marketing to support complex sales cycles
- Step into deals when needed to support negotiation or close key opportunities
- Oversee onboarding and training, ensuring new reps ramp quickly
- Maintain strong communication across marketing, operations, and leadership
- Occasionally manage your own book of business or key strategic accounts
We re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has 3 5+ years of experience managing B2B sales teams, ideally in IT infrastructure, hardware, or telecom
- Understands both transactional sales and consultative solution selling
- Has experience recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top sales talent
- Can effectively work across departments to create winning outcomes
- Brings strong business acumen, forecasting accuracy, and a bias for action
- Is energized by the challenge of growing and scaling in a competitive market
Bonus Points For:
- Experience selling refurbished IT hardware or structured cabling
- Prior experience working with remote and hybrid sales teams
- A strong personal network of sales professionals or clients in the space
