Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Darien, Illinois. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SAP systems to analyze business needs, identify gaps, and deliver solutions that enhance operations. This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in manufacturing and global mid-market operations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions within SAP systems.
Manage enhancements, break-fix issues, and major projects simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution and delivery.
Provide expertise in Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules to support operational needs.
Ensure accurate configuration and management of SAP Material Master data and related processes.
Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to team members in a multicultural environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, applying strong problem-solving skills to maintain seamless operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions in compliance with industry standards.
Travel occasionally to support project implementations and stakeholder engagements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Business Analyst, specializing in MM, PP, and PM modules.
Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA systems.
Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar industry, ideally in mid-market global operations.
Strong understanding of SAP Material Master data and associated processes.
Proven ability to conduct gap analyses and propose practical solutions to business challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
