RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions is building a scrum team of Senior/Intermediate Java Spring Boot APIs CI/CD AWS Engineers in the Columbus, Ohio & Wilmington, DE (Philly Area). This is a quick opportunity for fulltime employment with client.
Responsibilities:
* Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
* Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
* Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous
* Your team will discover/analyze/design/develop the best solution that aligns with the overall strategic direction and architecture and leverage industry best practices and design patterns to modernize, enhance, and integrate systems and applications
* Leverage technical expertise in Software to build integrations and technical capabilities that are innovative and align to modern architecture best practices
* Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
* Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
REQUIREMENTS:
* Formal training or certification on Java Spring engineering concepts and applied experience
* 5+ years in an intermediate role or 8+ years in a senior/VP titled role of Java Spring Development experience
* Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
* Hands-on experience in building/implementing cloud native application in a private/public Cloud environment i.e. AWS (key team uses S3, EKS, ECS, EC2) or Google
* Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
* Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
* Exposure to CI/CD
* Proficient in coding in one or more languages
* Proficient in Java/J2EE, and scalable microservices using Spring framework, Spring Boot
* Strength in Oracle or NoSQL
Preferred:
* Exposure to Kafka or experience with messaging tools
* Exposure to Sprinkler
* Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
* Excellent communication skills and able to work collaboratively across teams to deliver innovative solutions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
