ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 3 8 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining robust applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Cloud. This role requires expertise in microservices architecture across both on-prem and AWS cloud environments, along with solid front-end development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in REST API development, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle. Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead tasks within Agile teams are essential. This is a hybrid role requiring three days onsite in Tampa each week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Java Development: Proficiency in Java application development using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Cloud
• Microservices Architecture: Experience with microservices architecture, both on-premises and on cloud platforms (AWS)
• Web UI Development: Hands-on experience in web-based UI development and Single Page Application (SPA) development using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like jQuery, React, or Angular
• REST API Development: Ability to develop and work with REST APIs using the Spring Boot framework
• CI/CD Technologies: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools such as GIT, Jenkins, JaCoCo, and Maven
• Other duties as requested by leadership

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 3-8 years of hands-on experience in application development
• Database Knowledge: Experience with Postgres or Oracle SQL databases
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to challenges
• Leadership Ability: Capability to organize work and lead others effectively
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices
• Travel is required for 3 days in the office per week in Tampa

OTHER Must have no other full-time commitments, ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
