SABRE is a key component of the DoD Operational Mission Partner Environment (MPE) and the DoD strategy on how to send, secure and share critical data to United States and its global mission partners as quickly possible, reduce the cost of maintaining multiple bilateral and multilateral networks, and secure the mission partner ally enterprise networks and information domains against constantly evolving near peer adversaries. SABRE also serves as a pathfinder in developing Zero-Trust (ZT) policy at the DoD and Service levels on the combatant use of Information Domains as a contested warfighting environment and the future of data-centric operations. The candidate for this position may work anywhere in the United States. This is a hybrid remote position from anywhere within the US where candidates MUST have the ability to travel.

  • Ensure all tactical enclave domains are performing at maximum capability.
  • Manage all network resources to avoid outages and downtime, including backups.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide optimization solutions to maintain network integrity
  • Work with IT and data teams to understand bandwidth and data transfer requirements for data visualization, language translation, and data processing services.
  • Implement and configure robust network solutions to ensure secure and efficient data ingestion, extraction, and flow across systems.
  • Ensure network reliability and availability through redundancy, failover, and other high-availability techniques.
  • Implement network security measures, adhering to organizational standards and compliance regulations to protect sensitive data.
  • Coordinate with security teams to regularly assess the network for vulnerabilities and perform necessary updates or patches.
  • Document network designs, configurations, and maintenance procedures to ensure a clear understanding of the network's role in supporting analytic functions.
  • Participate in the selection and deployment of network management tools to automate network provisioning, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to integrate external data services and tools into the network infrastructure.
  • Provide training and support to IT staff on new network technologies and procedures related to data services and analytics.
  • Stay abreast of the latest network technology trends that can enhance the performance and capability of analytics and software services
