Description
SAIC is seeking a .NET Developer located in Pensacola, FL.
This position will be supporting Training & Education Management Systems for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC).
The roles primary focus is with Naval Education and Training Future Officer and Citizenship User System (NETFOCUS).
The .NET Developer will require:
- Develop applications in ASP.NET Webforms and ASP.NET MVC using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2016 (or later) product suite and C# and Visual Basic programming languages
- Develop Graphical User Interface (GUI) utilizing HTML5 standard for page structure, CSS and Bootstrap for styling, certain client-side technologies for efficiency such as JavaScript and jQuery
- Experience developing websites
- Experience with developing in Salesforce (Apex)
- Maintain existing web applications to include troubleshooting of web servers, programming changes, database structures, performance monitoring, and associated documentation
- Support end users, troubleshoots workflow problems, creates ad hoc queries, analyzes and modifies data when necessary
Qualifications
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or NCAE-C designated institution - or - two (2) years of experience with a CSSLP, GSEC, or CISSP-ISSAP - or - previous DoD/Military course completion of M09CVQ1, M03385G, M10395B, M223854, or M0923W1
- Web programming and support experience using web development tools (e.g., Microsoft Visual Studio's .NET C# & Visual Basic, JavaScript, Apex) to develop, modify, and maintain software. Tasks include software coding and compilation, deployment, documentation, testing, and maintenance
Certifications:
- Active Security+ certification or comparable to comply with DoD Cyber Workforce requirements as highlighted in the education requirements
Clearance Required:
- Must have an Interim Secret security (at minimum) clearance to start
Desired Skills:
- Experience using MVC architectures
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL and Microsoft SQL
- Familiarity with defensive/secure programming
- Familiarity with modern IDEs
- Familiarity with version-control systems
