Job Details
We are partnering with one of our staffing partners who is searching for a SQL developer for a ecommerce client. Responsibility to maintain both front-end and back-end development, build scalable applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences.
Salary $40k-70k slight flexibility for a good candidate. Due to low rates only direct applicants no c2c candidates please
The ideal candidate will have experience designing and managing databases, integrating them seamlessly with Java-based applications, and implementing DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize SQL databases and queries.
Write complex stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Java applications that interact with SQL databases.
Implement and manage DevOps pipelines for automated deployments.
Collaborate with software engineers and analysts to ensure database efficiency and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve database and application-related issues.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
Strong experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
Proficiency in Java programming language.
Experience with JDBC, Hibernate, or JPA for database interaction.
Understanding of database architecture, indexing, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is a plus.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, such as:
CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
Version Control (Git, Bitbucket)
