Our challenge

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst experience in Fixed Income Trading System.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $130k - $150k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with a team of developers, application support and business users to develop a solution for Fixed Income E-Trading System with emphasis on Credit Business.
  • Work with AWS Data team on data migration projects.
  • Prepare business and functional requirement documents.
  • Manage multiple projects and provide timely deliverables to end-users.
  • Coordinate changes with FO Application Support Team.
  • Update and manage documentation via SharePoint or Confluence.
  • Coordinate QA testing and production releases.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Worked within Fixed Income technology as a technical business analyst.
  • Worked with Fixed Income Trading System in client to dealer space (Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess).
  • Strong Fixed Income knowledge across all business lines (Rates, Credits, and Mortgages).
  • Strong user of database tools such as AquaData Studio, SQL Developers, etc.
  • Strong in ANSI SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase) to write stored procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of bond pricing, risk, and Pnl system.
  • Good understanding of underlying trading system data (Statics, Trade, RFQs, Pricing, Axes, market data).
  • Good understanding of the roles of fixed income trading vs. sales.
  • Understanding of Unix environment is a plus.
  • Understanding of AWS is a plus.
  • Worked knowledge of Atlassian tool (Jira, Confluence, etc).
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative; able to find innovative and elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Good communication skills with high standards in visual, written and oral communication.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Disciplined and independent personal management skills can work to deadlines and standards with minimum supervision when required.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic in the execution of their tasks.
  • Commercially aware; Focused on achieving the right results with good, maintainable solutions.
