What you'll do...
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 10500 NE 8th Street, Bellevue, WA 98004
Duties: Delivers high quality technical designs and code for the product requirements in a fast-paced agile scrum environment. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions using Java, J2ee, Spring, Rest web services, API Strategy, semantic richness of APIs. Involved in troubleshooting of business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause). Participates in problem-solving using knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Works on distributed messaging services such as Kafka. Works with NoSQL, columnar/document databases such as Cassandra. Reviews and evaluates code whether it follows design and development guidelines and standards and provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk. Develops program using Java, J2EE, JSON, JAXB, webservices, Apache Tomcat. Reviews and tests code with unit testing using Junit, Mockito, Code coverage. Works on SQL development and Database such as Oracle. Develops and maintains dashboard to check various functionality and error happening and provides resolution. Builds CI-CD pipelines.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related experience; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related experience.
Skills required: Experience developing business logic using Java, J2ee, spring, REST Services using JAX-RS API. Experience with SOAP Services using JAX-WS, JAXB APIs, and testing using unit test case, Junit. Experience with Linux and Unix Platform to deploy the code. Experience working on Relational Databases, SQL, JDBC and ORM technologies to store the data of the system. Experience implementing Java-based Web services, Servlet Technology, JSP, Ajax, and jQuery. Experience working using Agile scrum methodology, deciding backlogs requirement Analysis, effort estimation, creating task and plan the sprint. Experience developing modules using Object Oriented Methodology, design pattern and Service-Oriented Architecture. Experience with Data capture using xml parsing, JSON, and JAXB. Experience developing distributed message systems including Kafka and event-driven architecture. Experience using Apache Tomcat server to deploy application and check logs using Splunk. Experience managing Persistence using JPA entities and Bean Validation using Hibernate. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $149,240/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
