RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL) Senior Consultant. This role is 100% Onsite in San Antonio, TX. This position is full-time, 40 hours/week.
Summary:
We are seeking two experienced RH Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL) Senior Consultants to join our client's team onsite in San Antonio, TX. This role supports a high-security government environment and requires hands-on expertise with Red Hat technologies, including RHEL 9, Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide advanced system administration and engineering support for RHEL 9 environments
* Design, implement, and manage automation solutions using Red Hat AAP (Ansible Automation Platform)
* Support infrastructure environments including OpenShift (OCP), Satellite (SAT), and RH Trusted Application Pipeline
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, security, and scalability of infrastructure
* Troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely resolutions in a mission-critical environment
* Maintain documentation, procedures, and compliance with security policies
REQUIREMENTS:
* CompTIA Security+ or any certification listed under DoD IAT Level II (required)
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with RHEL, including RHEL 9
* Strong experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) - Level 2 proficiency
* Familiarity with OpenShift (OCP), Red Hat Satellite, and RH Trusted Application Pipeline (nice to have)
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
