Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Business Analyst - Accountant
Position Type: Fulltime/Contract to hire
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 12+ Months Possible temp to perm
Hybrid -3 days onsite, 2 days remote in a week
As a Business Analyst - Accountant you will have:
Looking for a Data Business Analyst, who can handle very large number of data. Oracle Background, Data Mapping
Advance in excel formulas, pivot
Responsible for heavy data analysis and data research related to our Billing platform migration which includes data context pre analysis, reconciliation, and data quality analysis. Should be comfortable and highly capable of working with high volumes of data under accelerated timelines. Expert Microsoft Excel skills level required, including VLOOKUPs, Data pivots and other advanced functions. An independent worker with strong communication, time management and organization skills are required; will work closely with other members of the team as well. Applies extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Requires a bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Reason for opening request: Business analysis assistance needed for a finite period of time for ongoing migration project from legacy to new Billing system.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Data analysis, research, and reconciliation
- Expert Microsoft Excel skills level required, including VLOOKUPs, Data pivots and other advanced functions.
- Independent worker, strong communication skills
- Responsible for analysis of what is coming out of old system vs. new systems.
- High volume of data and aggressive timelines. Must have ability to manager time and communication skills,
- New platform- Oracle based system- OBRM.
- Route cause analysis experience required.
- Responsibilities: Data analysis, comparisons between new and old systems, reconciliation
- Required Skill set- data research, analysis, comfort with large sets of data, expert with spreadsheets.
- Business analyst experience in the past, not an accounting position
- SQL, Investment experience a plus and experience working with large companies a plus
- Preferred Skills/ Experience:
- Extensive spreadsheet analysis and manipulation
- Familiarity with Billing nomenclature and data elements
- Familiarity with SQL
- Familiarity with user acceptance testing (UAT) procedures

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $52.00 - $54.10 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
