Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, relational database concepts, and data analytics. This role requires excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions and a solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, including update sets, scripting, and table constructs.
- Implement and manage data import/export sets and REST/Table APIs.
- Ensure reliable analytics by translating service models into CSDM and CMDB structures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business KPIs into technical solutions.
- Utilize Agile/Scrum practices, including ATF, versioning, and release pipelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with ServiceNow, including update sets, scripting, ACLs, and app scopes.
- Basic understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
- Experience with Metric Definitions, Metric Instances, Script Includes, and Scheduled Scripts.
- Proficiency in UI Builder and Platform Analytics.
- Solid SQL and data modeling skills, including data models and cubes.
- Experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse.
- Familiarity with Predictive Intelligence, including classification, similarity, clustering, and model lifecycle.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS (e.g., ITSM, Discovery, CMDB), Performance Analytics & Reporting Micro-Cert, and Predictive Intelligence Micro-Cert.
- Experience with Power BI and SQL Server Management.
- Background in data governance, including glossary, lineage, stewardship, and PII/security controls.
- Knowledge of data archiving, archive table design, and off-platform storage patterns.
- Exposure to Discovery/Service Mapping and its impact on CMDB data quality and reporting.
