Senior IT Auditor

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Napa, CA is looking for a Senior IT Auditor to support a project focused on IT General Controls and ERP testing.

Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT audit, ERP systems, and testing methodologies, and be able to operate independently with minimal guidance. This role requires someone who can quickly integrate into the team and begin contributing immediately, with limited onboarding related to internal systems and processes.

We are seeking a seasoned IT Audit professional to lead and execute a project focused on IT General Controls (ITGC) and ERP system testing in alignment with SOX 404 compliance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT auditing, control frameworks, and will be capable of operating independently with minimal onboarding. The expectation to follow an established audit work program and deliver review-ready documentation. The project will be executed using a SOX 404 audit approach, modeled after the MAR audit framework.

Duties/Day to Day Overview:
* Lead and manage the ITaudit program, ensuring alignment with prior year's audit scope and methodology
* Conduct and document walkthroughs with control owners and IT stakeholders
* Execute detailed control testing, including sampling, evidence collection, and exception identification
* Communicate with client stakeholders to obtain and validate audit evidence
* Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit documentation, including testing procedures, results, and remediation recommendations
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with audit objectives and timelines
* Manage day-to-day audit tasks and deliverables with limited supervision

Perform testing of key ITareas, including:
* Access Management Controls
* Change Management Controls
* Computer Operations Controls

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of hands-on experience in IT auditing, with a focus on ITand SOX 404 compliance
* Proven experience leading an ITaudit programs independently
* Familiarity with access management for databases (SQL, Oracle) and servers (Windows, Linux), including role-based access and permission structures
* Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI) for workflow and automated testing
* Experience using audit management platforms, preferably AuditBoard
* Exposure to AuditBoard Analytics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
