Part time IT Support Specialist

Part-Time Direct Hire Opportunity!

Must be commutable to Atlanta, GA 30307 2 days/week
25 hour work week, 5 hours/day or 8.5 3 days/week may be an option
MUST have experience with macOS support

Overview:
Our client is looking for a part-time technology specialist to help manage and improve their internal tech systems, working around 25 hours per week. This individual will support the team by ensuring a secure, reliable environment and offering hands-on assistance where needed. The right person will be strategic, resourceful, and comfortable guiding tech-related initiatives within a limited time commitment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain internal tech guidelines and protocols
• Work with outside partners and vendors for tools and services
• Address technical issues quickly and effectively
• Support team members with tech training and troubleshooting
• Keep track of digital tools, hardware, and licensing
• Offer suggestions for tools or upgrades that enhance team productivity
• Collaborate with development team on system needs and connections
• Track and manage tech-related costs
• Ensure our systems stay secure and compliant

Qualifications:

• Background in computing, systems, or related field
• macOS support required
• Hands-on experience (3+ years) managing digital tools or infrastructure
• Familiarity with networks, cloud platforms, and data security best practices
• Past exposure to regulated industries, especially healthcare, is a plus
• Comfortable working in both Mac and Windows environments
• Knows how to set up protections and data backup plans
• Enjoys solving problems and helping others
• Can work independently and prioritize tasks
• HIPAA compliance experience a HUGE plus
