Job Role: IBM DataPower Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC/Plano, TX/Atlanta, GA


Job Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • 10+ years of development and Analysis, Design and Development experience in various domains using IBM middleware technologies like Data Power, Web Sphere Message Broker, Web Sphere MQ,IIB, ACE, API Connect, Data Power, WTX and WSRR.
  • Design and implement message flows and integration solutions using Data Power.
  • Develop and manage SOAP/REST web services, MQ, and HTTP-based interfaces.
  • Ensure data mapping, transformation, and routing logic aligns with insurance business rules.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and domain experts to gather integration requirements.
  • Provide support for production deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Integrate with core insurance platforms like Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise integration and security standards.
  • Document technical specifications, flow designs, and change management logs.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
  • Use tools like IBM MQ, DataPower, and WSRR for secure and reliable messaging.
  • Configured WS-Proxy, Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), XML Fire Wall, Crypto Profile, Load balancer Group.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strong and confident knowledge in Contact Center network topology
  • Coordinate with other tech partners like Avaya, network partners and product vendors
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and related processes.
  • Experience with troubleshooting issues, analyzing logs and identifying root causes.
  • Ability to trace and analyze call flows within Genesys strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
