We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related Engineering field. In this challenging, fast-paced environment, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to design and create the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies - those that exist today and those that will shape tomorrow.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, expanding, and maintaining a secure and scalable development platform and program operations platform that serves the needs of multidisciplinary engineers for a programs across our business area.

Other responsibilities include ensuring the environment and the tools within it are optimized for performance, accessibility, reliability, and security. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, deployment strategies, DevOps practices and tools, and security principles. You should also be proactive, concise, and effective communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, System Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology or a related field with typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Infrastructure as Cloud: Terraform (preferred), Ansible, Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, Chef, Puppet
  • CI/CD Pipelines (YAML Based): AWS, Azure, GIT Hub
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience deploying applications in a production environment
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and deployment, automation, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security best practices, including experience with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
  • Understanding of security principles and protocols, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining compliance controls.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server virtualized administration and deployment.
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility required

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Certification
    • ISM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification
    • ISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP Certification
    • ISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ Certification
    • MCSE or Linux Security Certification
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and SSL/TLS
  • Familiarity with log management and analysis tools
  • Experience with security testing tools
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including code review, testing, and version control.
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Understanding of containerized application architectures
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
