Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Programmer Analyst - .NET / SQL / PL/SQL / Oracle with a major organization in Orlando, FL.

The selected candidate must successfully complete a CJIS background check and training prior to onboarding.
General Function
Under general supervision, the Systems Analyst will code, test, debug, document, and maintain applications/programs based on provided specifications. The analyst will also assess client business needs and develop recommendations aligned with best practices, including alternatives, cost estimates, and timelines. This is a mid-level position, requiring a strong educational background and/or relevant experience.
Representative Duties:

  • Develops, enhances, installs, and tests computer software applications based on specifications. Writes complex structured query language (SQL) queries.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for performance and reliability
  • Maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
  • Designs and develops complex databases.
  • Design and develop web and desktop applications using the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET)
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services using RESTful and SOAP-based web services
  • Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
  • Analyses and troubleshoots application problems working with technical staff and customers.
  • Leads project team in small to medium size projects and coordinates team tasks with assistance of technical leads.
  • Analyses client's business needs and provides recommendations for automated solutions.
  • Monitors client systems for performance and efficiency.
  • Communicates and interacts with customer contacts and functions as a liaison to increase efficiency and functionality of software applications.
  • Provides on call support as needed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Documents applications, technical specifications and user manuals.
  • Maintains current technology expertise.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
