Job Details
Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Remote Job Duration: 12 Months+
Job Description:
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud security, DevOps practices, and OWASP
- You will play a key role in supporting our security operations, enhancing our cloud and DevOps environments, and contributing to the overall security posture of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and implementation of security controls across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Assist in managing cloud infrastructure security, identity and access controls, and encryption practices.
- Perform security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and help remediate findings.
- Contribute to secure code reviews and support application security testing processes.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and log data as part of ongoing operations.
- Work with senior security engineers to implement best practices aligned with OSAP security standards.
- Document security procedures and contribute to policy and standards development.
Qualifications:
- 5 - 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, including exposure to cloud security and DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with common cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their security services.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Understanding of application security principles and tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, secret scanning).
- Working knowledge of OSAP or similar secure development frameworks is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Certifications (not required):
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty
- Certified DevSecOps Professional
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP (Associate), or similar
