Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Scottsdale, AZ that is seeking a GPO Contractor for an onsite role (5 days a week, with some flexibility). This contract will last 6-12 months (minimum 8 months, likely closer to 9-12 months).

Project Overview:
A local client is launching a GPO Cleanup initiative as part of their strategic goals. This project aims to consolidate, optimize, and document Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across multiple teams, each with their own ownership and configurations. The environment is dynamic, with GPA already fully live and in use, and CCM being a major focus area.

Duties:
* Lead and execute a full GPO cleanup effort across the organization
* Validate and remove unlinked or redundant GPOs
* Track and manage ServiceNow Change Requests (SNOW CRs)
* Consolidate and optimize existing GPOs for efficiency and compliance
* Maintain detailed documentation and change control logs
* Coordinate with stakeholders for approvals and policy ownership
* Support security hardening, compliance, and audit remediation
* Create SOPs and runbooks for ongoing GPO hygiene
* Mentor junior admins and internal staff on GPO best practices
* Collaborate closely with the GPO Admin and a supporting resource

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience running full GPO cleanup projects
* Strong understanding of RF management
* Comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams
* Hands-on practitioner with the ability to execute tasks directly
* Some project management experience
* Familiarity with Intune and GPO-to-Intune migration is a plus
* GPA experience is not required-front-end coverage is already in place

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
