Responsibilities

  • Lead enhancements and upgrades to platform infrastructure
  • Provide ongoing operational support and triage infrastructure issues for engineering teams
  • Plan and execute upgrades with minimal customer impact, including:
    • Kubernetes upgrades
    • Database upgrades
    • Other infrastructure updates
  • Support occasional weekend deployments (6 9 times per year) for off-hours maintenance
  • Develop detailed plans, steps, testing strategies, and risk mitigation for infrastructure work
  • Maintain clear documentation of architecture, processes, and operational runbooks
  • Drive GitOps best practices and ensure configurations are fully managed through repeatable workflows
  • Partner with engineering to enable shift-left practices through automation and documentation
  • Identify, plan, and implement automation opportunities as part of ongoing improvement
