Job Summary:

  • This temporary role will support the supply chain value analysis space during a prolonged project that impacts team bandwidth. Value analysis is undergoing a program refresh, producing unique challenges for the team.
  • This role will be critical in offloading important non-clinical tasks from value analysis nurses so that the program can continue to meet the needs of internal stakeholders, while also building new resources and working through process improvement.
  • The individual in this role should be a fast learner, work well in a team setting, be highly collaborative and proactive in developing solutions.

Value Analysis is a standardized process aimed at the review and management of clinical products used across an organization. Value Analysis is led from within supply chain by clinical individuals who partner with clinical teams and leaders from across the entire system (South, West, and East). The program is aimed at ensuring clinicians have appropriate supplies, implants, and instrumentation which support to clinical excellence while owning the cost of care.

Essential Functions:

  • Serves to provide structure, project management and support for new and existing workflows and initiatives.
  • Collaborates closely with leadership to develop action plans.
  • Keeps management and stakeholders abreast of active and pending projects. Identify and escalate barriers, risks, issues, and requirement changes to project scope appropriately. Assists with the development of risk mitigation plans, in conjunction with workgroup team.
  • Aids in assessment of requirements to achieve desired deliverables while working with stakeholders.
  • Contributes to the planning and execution of program work for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Conducts and facilitates meetings and is responsible for project tracking with the explicit intent of improving Supply Chain performance, improving KPIs, and reducing the overall cost of Supply Chain.

Qualifications:

  • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferably in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 2 years of relevant experience within a regulated industry preferred (auditing, compliance, procurement, etc.) Preferred
  • Experience with process improvement, project management, change management. Preferred
  • Demonstrated record of achieving and sustaining exceptional results. Required
  • Facilitation skills and ability to create consensus within a group of stakeholders, including creating accountability Required
  • 2 years of relevant experience Robust Supply Chain experience including domain expertise in at least one core functional area of Supply Chain (distribution & inventory, procurement, technology, clinical) Preferred
