Senior Network Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Hybrid - 2 days onsite in Boulder, CO
Compensation: $120K-$140K upon conversion
About the Role
Aurora Organic Dairy (AOD) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure. This role bridges the gap between architecture and administration-turning high-level designs into secure, efficient deployments. You'll work closely with our Network Architect and IT Operations team to build a resilient, modern network that supports AOD's growth.

About the Role
Aurora Organic Dairy (AOD) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure. This role bridges the gap between architecture and administration-turning high-level designs into secure, efficient deployments. You'll work closely with our Network Architect and IT Operations team to build a resilient, modern network that supports AOD's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement network designs across Fortinet, Cisco, and other platforms.
- Configure and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, FortiAPs, and FortiManager environments.
- Deploy and maintain high-availability systems for network resilience.
- Optimize network topology, redundancy, and capacity in collaboration with the Network Architect.
- Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot WAN/LAN/WLAN and VPN performance.
- Manage network security: firewall policy audits, vulnerability mitigation, and compliance.
- Document configurations, standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Mentor Network Administrator and assist with escalated incidents.
- Support IT projects like network modernization and IoT security segmentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance.
