Job Description Enterprise Technical Architect (Sterling OMS + Microservices)

Location: Seattle, WA / Vancouver, WA
Type: Onsite

About the Role

We are hiring an Enterprise Technical Architect with deep expertise in IBM Sterling OMS, Java Microservices, and Cloud Native development on AWS. This role will define technical architecture, integration patterns, performance frameworks, and enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture for OMS + microservices ecosystem across the enterprise.
• Design scalable, cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, AWS.
• Lead end-to-end architecture covering order orchestration, inventory, fulfillment, and BY integrations.
• Define coding standards, CI/CD guidelines, API patterns, and security frameworks.
• Review technical designs and provide governance for development teams.
• Support performance tuning, capacity planning, and architectural scalability.

Required Skills

• 10+ yrs technical experience with 4 6 yrs in Sterling OMS architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in Java Microservices, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and API-led integrations.
• Experience integrating OMS with Blue Yonder, ERP, WMS, and external APIs.
• Excellent leadership and technical-decision-making skills.
