Job Title: Data Center Design and Architect - AI & GPU Infrastructure
Location: Concord, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a forward-thinking Data Center Design and Architect to lead the design and deployment of next-generation data

centers optimized for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. This role focuses on integrating cutting-edge GPU-
based infrastructure, including NVIDIA B100 GPUs, Dell PowerEdge GPU servers, and advanced networking and cooling

technologies, into scalable, energy-efficient, and high-density environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and implement data centers optimized for AI/ML workloads, with a focus on high-density GPU deployments and
advanced cooling strategies.
Design infrastructure to support NVIDIA HGX B100 NVL8 SXM GPU Air Cooled 1100W Assemblies and Dell PowerEdge XE9680 and
R670 servers.
Integrate Dell PowerScale F710 storage systems for high-throughput, low-latency data access.
Design and deploy high-performance networking using NVIDIA Quantum-3 Q3400, NVIDIA Spectrum-4 SN5600/10, and NVIDIA
Spectrum SN2201 switches.
Implement and manage Dell Integrated Rack 5000 solutions with both air and direct liquid cooling (DLC) capabilities.
Utilize iDRAC and OpenManage Enterprise for server management, monitoring, and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with AI/ML workload requirements and business objectives.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, LEED) and support sustainability initiatives.
Lead capacity planning, risk assessments, and performance optimization for GPU-intensive environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in data center design and architecture, with at least 3 years focused on AI/HPC infrastructure.
Deep understanding of GPU architectures, particularly NVIDIA B100, and experience with Dell PowerEdge XE9680 and R670
platforms.
Expertise in high-density rack design, power distribution (including 48V DC), and advanced cooling systems (liquid, immersion,
rear-door heat exchangers).
Experience with high-performance storage systems like Dell PowerScale F710.
Proficiency in deploying and managing high-speed networking using NVIDIA Quantum and Spectrum switches.
Familiarity with DCIM tools, iDRAC, and OpenManage Enterprise.
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer, LEED AP, BICSI) are a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Experience designing or operating hyperscale or AI-focused data centers.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient design for high-performance computing environments.
Familiarity with edge computing and hybrid cloud architectures.
