RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team onsite in Atlanta, Georgia (GA).
Summary:
In this role, the Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and effective learning content for our service partners. They will leverage the Evolve authoring tool to create high-quality, self-paced courses that help our partners master Mailchimp's platform and its advanced features. This position is perfect for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about instructional design and has a proven ability to quickly learn new software.
Duties:
* Content Design & Development: Design and develop engaging and interactive self-paced learning content using the Evolve authoring tool, ensuring all content is aligned with learning objectives and best practices
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) Collaboration: Work closely with Mailchimp product managers, marketers, and other subject matter experts to gather information and translate complex product knowledge into clear and concise learning modules
* Learning Experience Optimization: Apply adult learning principles to create educational experiences that are not only effective but also delightful and easy for partners to access
* Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and testing of all developed content to ensure accuracy, functionality, and a seamless user experience before publication
* Documentation & Maintenance: Maintain and update existing course materials and documentation as product features evolve, ensuring content remains current and relevant
* Project Management: Manage the end-to-end development cycle for learning projects, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholder feedback is incorporated effectively
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field, preferably in a technology or e-learning environment
* Technical Acumen: Proven ability to quickly learn and master new software platforms
* Prior experience with a course authoring tool like Evolve is highly desirable
* Instructional Design Expertise: A solid understanding of instructional design methodologies, including the ADDIE model or similar frameworks, and a strong portfolio demonstrating the application of these principles
* Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to create impactful learning content
* Adaptability: A demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and products, particularly within a fast-paced and evolving technology landscape
* Problem-Solving: A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to overcome challenges in the content development process
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
