Currently Kellton Tech is looking for talented resources for one of our listed client. Below are the position details:

Job Title: Release Manager

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Position Summary:

This role manages, plans, organizes and controls all operations and activities of large IT projects at varying levels of complexity. Duties include: manage projects of varying size and complexity; may oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management; create and maintain project plans; ensure that users and project team members roles and responsibilities are defined; coordinate and monitor activities to ensure project is completed on time and within budget; ensures that user requirements, deliverables and approvals are defined and documented; communicate project status; promote use of PMI best practices; ensure the delivery of a product that meets user requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as primary point of contact for the Health Connector regarding release management and implementation of third party vendor solutions
  2. Facilitate workshops with agency subject matter experts (SME s) and Health Connector vendors to gather and document detailed business requirements
  3. Represent the Health Connector in third party vendor discussions regarding system changes
  4. Liaise with third party vendors and agency SME s to support implementation, testing, triage and issue resolution
  5. Identify, triage and solves project issues and perform Go-live readiness assessments
  6. Work with the internal and external implementation leads to address project issues and mitigate risk.
  7. Develop and maintain an integrated implementation schedule with goals, milestones and all aspects of SDLC
  8. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
  9. May oversee business analysts assigned to projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.
  2. Minimum 8 years of business analyst experience
  3. Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  4. Former local, state, federal government experience preferred
  5. Experience with State Based Marketplaces preferred
