Role Overview:
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new clients, expand into new markets, and grow revenue streams. You will play a key role in shaping how Oriontek is positioned to decision-makers across industries looking for trusted IT consulting partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, events, and partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, Procurement Managers).
  • Understand client business needs and tailor IT consulting service proposals accordingly.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create customized solutions and proposals.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals ensuring a smooth handoff to delivery teams.
  • Lead RFP responses, sales presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new sectors and services for growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and forecasts using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and webinars.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of B2B business development experience, preferably in IT consulting or technology services.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT consulting solutions (cloud services, cybersecurity, software development, IT strategy).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficient with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience selling high-value IT consulting or managed services contracts.
  • Understanding of modern IT trends like cloud computing, digital transformation, AI, and data analytics.
  • Experience with Account-Based Selling (ABS) strategies.
  • Existing network of enterprise contacts is a strong advantage.
