Job Details
We have a Mainframe Engineer/Developer opening that represents an outstanding opportunity to further develop an individual s career in technology by supporting our business partners to ensure projects are implemented with the highest quality. This Mainframe Engineer is part of a high energetic team, responsible for code research, develop, test, and work with environment groups to integrate and support changes from development to test to production environments.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe coding and debugging
- 5+ years of experience on CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, MQ and JCL.
Preferred Skills:
- Good CICS System knowledge would be valuable.
- Good understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing process.
- Should be familiar with DB2 tools, File-Aid, scheduler and debugger tools. Good communication and ability to interact with Partners.
- General knowledge in core Java and Front-end Technologies (Angular) is plus
- Endeavor Software Manager migration tool/process
- SFTP/AWXAY Secure File transfer knowledge
- Ability to work independently and within a team structure
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant academics required
