Job Details

ARC Biomechanics Researcher
Sunnyvale , CA
12 months contract with possible extension
$68-$72.00/HR ON W2, DOE

We seek a person to join our audio research team and contribute to understanding the factors that facilitate a comfortable and stable experience with Client's audio products. You will work with researchers and engineers to design studies, collect qualitative/quantitative data from users, analyze data, and develop insights to inform future designs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with user studies or human research
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Proficient in analyzing quantitative data and an understanding of statistical analysis
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to clearly present ideas and defend results
Desired skills (nice to haves):
  • Experience with motion capture
  • Experience working with sensors and/or prototype hardware
  • Familiarity with scripting and data visualization

Desired Experience :
BS in Human Factors, Biomechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Psychology, Computer Graphics, Human-Computer interaction, or similar field. Relevant experience in consumer products or medical device industry is also acceptable.
