W2 ONLY, ONSITE:
Position Summary:
The IT Service Technician will provide on-site and remote technical support for end-user devices and school-based technology. This includes desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, printers, interactive flat panels, and network connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to service requests via Cherwell ticketing system.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Google Workspace applications.
Provide support for Chromebooks, printers, projectors, SMART Boards, and other peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and escalate unresolved issues.
Travel between assigned schools (cluster-based coverage).
Required Qualifications:
CompTIA A+ certification (mandatory).
Proficiency in Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office 365.
Experience supporting large IT environments (K-12 preferred).
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
