Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director to lead IT and cybersecurity initiatives at our organization in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This Contract-to-permanent position involves developing cutting-edge training programs, overseeing infrastructure and cloud solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive curriculum innovation and student success. Ideal candidates are hands-on professionals with a background in IT or cybersecurity who are passionate about teaching and mentoring others.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and oversee IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity training programs.
Develop new curricula, certifications, and training materials that align with industry standards.
Collaborate with content developers to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill-building.
Work closely with internal teams such as DevOps, sales, and product development to integrate course updates and meet organizational goals.
Manage and expand the catalog of training offerings to address evolving market needs.
Attend sales meetings and contribute to closing new contracts with technology vendors and clients.
Ensure high-quality technical standards for physical IT environments in training facilities.
Convert IT and cybersecurity vendors into authorized training providers.
Oversee project management activities and attend stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment of goals.
Travel to physical offices to upgrade technologies and maintain operational excellence.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, infrastructure, cloud technologies, or cybersecurity.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Hands-on experience with VMware technologies and backup systems.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance, policies, and strategies.
Proven ability to develop training programs and curricula.
Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Asana, Smartsheet, Airtable, and Salesforce.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Background in IT sales, B2B technology, or enterprise resource planning is a plus.
